'A Lonely Place' is the new single from Manchester's Anna Kashfi and also the opening track of their current album 'Survival'. On its release in January, 'Survival' was highly acclaimed. Mojo and Q both gave it 4 star reviews whilst Uncut described 'Devil's Bridge', a duet with Willard Grant Conspiracy's Robert Fisher, as “one of the best since the Nick Cave/Polly Harvey collaborations”. The b-side is a beautiful slow-motion cover of Sparklehorse's 'Gold Day', in tribute to one of the band's acknowledged influences.
